Here’s an example of a side-hike from a side-hike.

I’ve been transcribing the modifications I made to the camper power system in our Westfalia factory-converted camper van. The side-hike was to properly indicate the 3-pin switch in my drawing. Below is the 2nd draft, after measuring resistance on the pins.

I think there should be a current limiting resistor in there, too, but I’m not sure.

an electrical schematic symbol showing a dpst-style switch with three pins and an led symbol, the led connected to the 2nd switch contact

Here’s the first revision, where I though the LED was connected to the common output from a SPST switch. So this has taken significant time.

like the above symbol, but this time showing a SPST switch with the 3rd pin as the cathode of the LED. there was an earlier revision where I had the LED reversed!

In reality, I should have made a symbol with 3 pins and an LED an no wiring, and just put that on my drawing, to make more progress on the primary task, which is itself not really primary, but a side-hike to debug a strange issue, which I will probably elaborate on at some point.
